SYSTEMS M-CONTROL STATISTICS         CONTACT

Process control is expected  to be ready for release in the spring 2006. This is a complete production surveillance system which is able to connect to the small systems like : Motion Control 1.5, SMS ALERT 1.0 and M-Control 2005. This system is configurable with the same hardware as the rest of the systems, which means that if you have one system, you can always expand. Process Control is basically a parent program which gathers information and uses that in the child programs functions.

Process Control is also configurable with a 96 channel USB IO deice or it can use internal PCI IO cards, this depends on what you specify in the setup. All elements in the program is user configurable, which makes the program really advanced. You can define software timers, build user defined programs, (requires M-Control 2005 installed), calculate statistics from the information gathered from you machinery or simply build you own statistical functions by letting the program transfer the data to an excel sheet

In process control it is always possible to find out, which statistical distribution the production process for a given product follows. This information is used, to simulate a process and give an estimation to show, if what has been planned is actually realistic.

Online information to the production planners is essential in process control. Having the possibility of using hardware counters in M-CONTROL 2005 the system can find out exactly how many items your machine has been producing, machining time and finally, give an estimation of the chances that the production will finish in time, following a certain distribution. The system works with something defined as plus and minus grades. This is a way of ranking the different machines as a function of the operator responsible for the changeover, quality control, tools used etc.

Using M-CONTROL as a server to handle the IO, you have complete control over your hardware and M-CONTROL will allow you the same functionality as a PLC would. You can choose each IO channel as either input or output and build you own programs, setting flags and variables etc.

I will be looking forward to present this program, so please keep an eye out on my web site.
